Our Story

Zeeconnects was born out of a passion for career strategy by the Founder, Zenovia (Zee) Nwosu! Throughout high school Zee took advantage of college access programs and attended summer enrichment camps. During her undergraduate years she started writing resumes for family and close friends, which eventually turned into a side-gig after graduation. 

To morph her passion into something tangible, Zee started zeeconnects as an online community for career resources. The site is  a manifestation of Zee's curiosity relating to career strategy and is accessible to our network and beyond. 

At zeeconnects, we seek to use this platform to share knowledge around career development and faith building, as well as  uplift educational and vocational excellence. 

Our unwavering goal is to continue to give back to the community.  It is our mission to empower people of all ages to start where they stand  and progress towards their personal and professional goals!

Evony Thomas is thrilled to lead zeeconnects as CEO and continue the great work of Zenovia, our beloved  late Founder. Evony believes it is vital that this work continues.

Evony brings over a decade of professional experience to Zeeconnects, including 4.5 years as a technology consultant at Deloitte where she designed digital systems and service processes for enterprise clients. Under her leadership, Zeeconnects is expanding its mission — adding Local Presence Co., a web presence service helping local businesses get found online, alongside the career resources and community Zenovia built.
